I find no matter what kind of system or method I used to help me be organized or responsible, I find there's always a flaw or loophole that causes that system to not help me be organized and to not work. For example, I find writing lists helps but I usually loose the list. I find writing a list on a white board helps me not loose lists but then I forget to write things down when I'm not in the kitchen and then stress. I find using my cellphone is good for lists and reminders, however it takes a while to open up the app and that extra 20 seconds is enough to not want me to use it or not write things down as much. I can't rely on my memory because I need to write things down and it goes on. Do you feel like this sort of thing is a problem with you too? What kind of organization/reminder methods helps you best?

I am like this too. I don't use an agenda, I have tried, but then I have to bring it everywhere, which would require me to carry some type of bag (which I don't always want to), I have lists of lists of lists that get lost. Same with the phone thing, I find it annoying to open to the list I have made, not to mention remember where I made it etc etc, so in the end I don't write anything down. I try to make appts on same day, same time, I try to get calls about appts, including doctor ones. For friends they call me a day or 2 before, if not I forget. For groceries, I tend to go out on the spur of the moment and get the 6 items or so that I remember- I live close to a small grocers and the prices aren't to bad.
