What are your experiences with the treatments you've been offered? How did the therapist / counselor interact with you? Mine have been very bad.

My therapists have done very, very little for me, but it's still better then nothing. I'm seeing a new therapists this week. I guess the best thing to do if your therapist is not helping you is to find a new therapist.

I had horrible luck with the healthcare i had related to my Aspergers. Aspergers got ruled out when I was tested cuz they thought I communicated too well verbally & seemed too intelligent to have anything on the autism spectrum. My psychiatrist didn't really listen to my ideas about my meds.

However my girlfriend is on the spectrum & her psychiatrist really listens to her & is alot easier to talk to than mine. I'm from Louisiana & moved to Vermont to be with my girlfriend & the health care system here is aLOT better.
