Weird "addictions" when travelling by car/bus etc.?

I was wondering if anyone else has any "addictions" while travelling, for example when passing a white line on the road or any other straight object like a pavement, I blink before it passes by, like I line it up with the mirror thing on the side of the car (I forgot the name) and sort of fire a line between the object and the mirror. I've asked people and no one has related to this...

Wow, I do things like this too. One of the the things I do is almost exactly what you described, except I'll click my teeth instead of blink. Sometimes I'll have songs playing in my head, with the passing of the lines acting as a metronome. This is sometimes combined with the teeth-clicking. I might divide or subdivide the beat with my teeth as well.

I try to do that, but my thoughts are too distracting.

I did at one point due to my OCD but my OCD went through lots of phases so I don't remember doing it for very long.

My mom and I started a 'Groundhog counting" competition on roadtrips in the 90s.

Also on the schoolbus I used to imagine house-to-house special operations combat happening whilst plodding down the road.

All perfectly normal.
