Compared to Neurotypicals, who are more likely to persevere through a difficult situation.

Anyone have an idea why someone with Autism will freeze and melt-down emotionally when others are able to maintain their frustrations better?

I am doing research on Autism behaviors for Developmental Psych class because I have it myself, and am curious why I react more strongly to anything novel compared to NT's.

Because we go through lots of crap...and we have trouble processing things. This leads to frustration.

Because we are deficient in executive functions, such as persevering toward a goal in the face of adversity.
