I think nuerological/autistic disorders are about 3 or 4x more common in males, but im not sure.

I'm female and self-diagnosed.

Hm... based on the poll results so far, more females have self-diagnosed and more males have been officially diagnosed... I wonder if this relates to the theory that women with AS are less likely to be diagnosed?

I don't know if looking at it that way would work, since my guess is (maybe) that females are more talkative and post more than males.

If I was smarter and not lazy I could write a program to read all 200 pages (50 per page) of WP membership data. Then we could study the data in alot of ways. Such as
the precise numbers here.

where x = 2 to 10660 will provide the 10351 members profiles (I knew it was 5 missing not sure why there are now 300 missing members)

Then need some text processing program to strip the data down into just the profile form like this:

The phrase "Viewing profile" can be searched for in the retrived urls files to be the start of the user profile data:
