I was at a school event. Throughout lunch, this schoolmate kept glancing at me... And looked behind at me while I was walking behind him to the bus.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid about if he's scared of me or something, I didn't notice anyone else glancing at me as much. (?)

A few possibilities:

- He's smitten with you.

- You remind him of someone else.

- There was a Denebian Slime Devil waving to him from atop your head.

(I think we can discount that last one.)

No, but, I don't know if either is likely. He knows who I am. I have conversed and am acquainted with his friends, I have spoken to him before.

He is also... How to put it, quite flamboyant, in manner, voice, and dress. I think he says he likes girls, so maybe I'm being unfair. :/

No one here knows what he is thinking, feeling, or intuiting. Asking us about these things is pointless. That is why I suggested that you ask HIM instead. But since you seem reluctant to do that, then there is no chance that you will ever know for sure...

... unless you interact with him directly, of course.

Maybe I'm a bit old school, but maybe pass him a handwritten note. It's a bit easier than talking face to face.

Hes a guy. He likes you. If you speak to him he will see it as flirting.

I just know that his cousin used to think I was ret*d, maybe he's scared of me, though I'm not doing anything weird.

As for the crush thing, I honestly thought he was, well... perhaps gay. He has a limp wrist, effeminate voice, and often dresses nicely, though not all the time... I mean, I have a friend who has an effeminate voice, a limp wrist, and an interest in fashion, who even said he wanted to make over my brother, who says he is straight, and another friend with some effeminate interests and a love of fashion who has dated a girl and gone on dates with two more, who also says he is straight, and some more boys who like to shop and look nice... So like I said, I might be being unfair.
