Meyer-Briggs Personality Test
The Meyer-Briggs personality test is an objective-qualitative test presented in a self-evaluative questionnaire format. It evaluates how you perceive the yourself and the world around you based on four basic dichotomies based on Carl Jung's typological model. These dichotomies are:
>intuition/sensing
>introversion/extroversion
>perceiving/judging
>thinking/feeling
This test calculates your personality type based on which of these qualities out of the four fields you display according to your answers. Your personality type is a combination of each of these four qualities you display, hence there are 16 possible combinations. For example I am INTP, which is a combination of Intuition, Introversion, Thinking and Perceiving.
Take the test online, I recommend the 16personalities website (I'm not allowed to post URLs) or just Google "meyer-briggs test"
Note: this is an internationally recognised standardised test, not some pseudo-scientific gimmick. Although the method of evaluation isn't entirely objective it is still widely accepted and respected within the field of psychology. The result you receive does not define you as a person but defines you by a psychological textbook definition. However you may find this test helpful for better understanding yourself and building your psychological profile. Be sure to answer each question honestly.

AND ... I would dispute your assertions that this is "an internationally recognised standardised test, not some pseudo-scientific gimmick" and "it is still widely accepted and respected within the field of psychology." NOT!
Not going into reasons why here; see related thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=303615&start=0
