Is Jordan Schlansky an aspie

I saw just was watching Conan and he threw one of his associate producers Jordan Schlansky a "bachelor party" and made a video out of it and after watching him for a little bit I soon realized he is exremely awkward and even though Connan was just putting on a show and being is usual comic self, he was doing it this poor guys expense. I gotta say it's hard not to laugh watching Connan though, even though I suspect job place bullying on Hollywood level.

After watching a few more skits with him I'm pretty sure he has some level of aspergers going on. I'm not sure if this is scripted but if he's not playing a role to act like that then I would have to say that he is certainly on the spectrum. Here's a link to one of the skits he did with him.

I did some looking into it and it would appear he is indeed on the spectrum. I've been watching a lot of what I thought were skits, but turns out it's just Conan getting paid to bully someone on TV...I've lost all respect for him now.

I'm a massive Conan fan, and his humour is self-deprecating, and a part of his many skits is to have people in them that chastise and look down on him, and this is just one of those instances. It's just a joke, it's a skit, it's not real and people aren't being themselves.

I remember when Jay Leno had a guy who played "Richard the Scary Stagehand", the character was a Ted Kaczynski clone around the time when the Unabomber case was in the news. This was around 1996-98. There were all sorts of jokes about murderous rampages and such, this was back before there were two or three random mass shootings a day. The character (and his routine) were apparently pretty popular. So yeah, "Jordan Schlansky" is likely an actor, and the whole aspie thing is part of his gig/routine. Late night comedy can be pretty lowbrow.

This is a bit of an old thread but I think I’m low key obsessed with Jordan Schlanksy and I had to throw my 2 cents in that I don’t think Conan is bullying Jordan. If you watch the very first skit they did together which was during the 2008 (2009?) writers strike on the tonight show Jordan is a lot more expressive and smiles/laughs at Conan’s egging. I think he is very self aware of his own weirdness and hams it up for the sake of comedy, like he tries to keep his straight face much more and act more unimpressed with Conan than he actually is but if you watch enough of the two of them you can see Jordan has fun with it too.

In a reddit AMA he said he admires Conan and thinks he’s the funniest person he knows. You should watch some of their new Italy trip videos! Jordan absolutely loses it laughing in several of them and I think it’s really sweet.

Also though Conan tries to keep the whole “Jordan is real and these bits aren’t scripted thing!!” Some of them obviously are and he never does anything that’s outside of Jordan’s boundaries. For example there was a bit where Jordan met Harrison Ford and asked him to sign his LEGO millennium falcon which he spent 60+ hours on where Harrison took it from him and smashed it while him and Conan laughed. Jordan said later that he had given them permission to do that, the one they smashed him as “one of his spares” and Harrison signed his real one later.

Also Jordan is part of the staff the followed Conan over from the tonight show! I doubt he’d do that if Conan actually made him uncomfortable. He could have just worked for the new host.

Also I don’t know if you’ll see this but I gotta wonder what it was you found that made you say Jordan is “indeed on the spectrum” cause I’ve beeb wondering about that A LOT and I would love some confirmation.
