How annoying are you?

Everyone I know finds me annoying. I don't try to be, but I am found annoying. It keeps me from having friends and it's stressful and very disappointing at times, especially because I thought I made some advancements.

I've gotten that I'm like a 7/10 when it comes to how annoying I am.

some people are obviously very annoyed when i talk with them. i get the feeling that i annoy everyone, and the ones that seem happy to be around me are just being nice.

When I have been around people for a long time I can get really really annoying, my record is fifty minutes playing the I'm not touching you game. I can make anything into either a pun or a double entendre and ofttimes do. If I don't do that then I can continue what they say into a song lyric or a movie quote. The trick is to be more valuable around than not around. Works wonders.

I have a better one

I'm not really all that annoying. People get annoyed because they choose to.

I think I am usually too calm to be annoying. Of course, I think some people sometimes find that annoying (if they are trying to get a rise out of me and can't, for example). I'm sure I can occasionally be, though. Perhaps when I get caught on semantics.

I almost agree. I think people get annoyed because they allow themselves to. And I say this as someone who used to be constantly annoyed and now rarely is. Equanimity goes a long way.

I am pretty annoying to quiet people, because I usually ramble on with them and really end up draining them in the end. However, I have several friends who are pretty talkative and outgoing, and they don't see me as particularly annoying. One of them even says that I can be pretty quiet, which I find funny, but it probably depends on whether I am in a talkative mood at that point or not. So it really varies on the kind of people I'm with. When I am with outgoing people, we pretty much usually cancel each other out.

Idk.....judging from the utter wall of silence I usually encounter here on WP after posting ANYTHING....I must be pretty annoying

How can you tell if you are annoying?

Can't say I am annoyed by you, can't say for certain why others are though...

I'm so annoying my reflection glares at me.

If people don't want to be with you, are sneering you, have "something else to do", try to get out of the conversation with you as soon as socially correct possible, don't want to hear your opinion, rate you negative everyway possible, constantly take deep breaths and blow out loudly, start talking to other people if they have the chance, just say it bluntly, ask you to leave even though you just met them, etc, etc, etc.

The made examples might imply some other sources too.

Ha ha ha! I'm always overly paranoid that I am annoying. I apologize often for being annoying. The few people I socialize with at all regularly assure me that I am not.
That's when I realize that I'm the one who is annoyed with everyone else.

I used to be a lot more annoying than I think I am now because I would talk a lot about stuff only I was interested in and usually in a very loud voice. My mother often told me to keep my voice down while in public. I used to also say things that would embarrass her in front of people and not think I did anything wrong until she'd lecture me afterwards. And this was when I was a young adult not some dumb kid. But since my diagnosis I don't do that as much now. Probably because I know now most people don't give a rat's tail about what utter nonsense I have to say.
I know I can still be a pain sometimes though because I'm extremely pessimistic and would see the dark side of a rainbow, as my brother once told me. I'm also very hard to please. Sometimes I have to exaggerate my pleasure at someone doing something for me so they won't think I'm an ungrateful witch.
