I told my doctor that i think i have many aspergers "symptoms/characteristics". Instead of saying his normal "you just gotta except it" he referred me to the neuropsychologist in the building. My assessment will be from a couple weeks to a couple months. I will soon get a letter stating when my first part of the assessment will be. I feel quite good.
The school counsellor told me she thinks "im on to something" when i told her about aspergers.

Cool. Sounds like your doc already recognized it about you. Hope it goes well with your parents too. Some aren't willing to accept it. Best of luck, keep us updated.

That's good news, I hope the referral goes well! Your signature says you used to be diagnosed with PDD-NOS but had it removed, how did that happen, if you don't mind my asking?

No clue. Had an old doctor who just "forgot" to put it on my report and after that no one bothered to fix it.

Hello.
I promised updates, so here is one.
I went to my doctor again today, and he gave me the diagnosis of (mild) Aspergers Syndrome!
There was no "real" testing done but i have been tested earlier and then my old diagnosis (PDD-NOS) was removed a year ago due to a doctor forgetting it, so he thought it was okay to give the diagnosis without any further investigations/tests.
I also received a note basically stating "X has aspergers and whenever it can be taken into consideration in school it would be good".
As far as i can understand i am now officially diagnosed with aspergers syndrome.
(As stated in my signature)

Put the diagnosis to good use and congratulations.

Congratulations! Do you plan on seeing if you can get some help at school with the diagnosis?
