Hey Gang, I was wondering exactly how common it is for those on the spectrum to also have Anxiety and/or depression issues? I'm currently taking something for my Anxiety which doubles as an anti-depressant somebody asked me if depression and/or anxiety was more prevalent for those whom have Autism or Aspergers to which I said I dunno which honestly I dunno if it's more common for us vs the nerotypical person.

If anybody knows for sure please reply

Thanks

Anecdotally, anxiety seems to be very common with Aspergers. I would say depression is quite common as well.

It's very common to have comorbid depression and anxiety disorders with ASD.
