*Apologies if this is wrong section.

I am diagnosed with Asperger's officially, however I feel PDD-NoS is a more accurate description of me.

I have been having increased meltdowns in my adult life, my sensitivity to lights and sounds are getting worse. Is this even documented or possible at all? Does anyone know? I have heard conditions getting better as you get older but not the other way around. Which is what seems to be happening to me...

Thanks for reading

You are not the only one with meltdowns. What I do when I have a meltdown or starting to meltdown is I get out town. I get as far away from the source of the meltdown.

Sadly I don't have that option, but trying to escape is probably why my issues come in, I can't escape from my stressors, I live with people who do understand to a degree but won't bother to change their lives to accommodate my sensitivities (and why should they, I'm essentially a freeloader. Gotta love employers that don't care about disabled workers. But I digress). I hope when my house is finished being renovated I can make some sort of Calmdown/quiet corner to escape to when I'm having meltdowns.
