To-day , having somewhat splurged on myself , and having not rushed to the free food elsewhere (which , as I have said , is quite a walk) , I was walking through the Tenderloin on the nice , sunny , day and feeling " It's not so bad , really "...Only to have this drunken woman start to harass me , try to get money off of me to get a drink , say she " could have stolen my stuff "...I went away to another spot to sit in the sun , eventually , this disgusting trollop/hoyden followed me THERE , again saying " I could steal your stuff " , grabbing at my things...I threw the can of Budweiser I had away from her , to the gutter - At least she went away to the gutter to pick it up ! Bah !
(All this parlells what happened to me on Dec. 29th , I wrote about it in the " It was a wondeful life ! " thread ~ I also had an experience on Jan 26 , my birthday , where someone claiming to be a friend hustled/stole 9 dollars out of me , I knew he was hustling me , I just wanted him to go away ! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! !! That one was a male , the one to-ay and in December were women , yes , I get pushed around by women  .
I believe the improvement in my walking that happened aftrer I was in the hospital is going downhill :( .
I am very very very low on money , and my money will come a day late , Wed. , due to a calender hiccup ~ That same thing of a semi-employee?? of one of the corner stores near the shelter cursig at me continued to-day (I've posted of this before)...........

You know what, ASS-P?

I wish there were a way you could sell your story
or somehow make money off it.
You write really well.
Seriously. You remind me of James Altucher.
He's been up, he's been down.
He writes in a true-confession style.
Here's a link to his blog:

...Although I'm better than I was some weeks ago , still , walking with just a bag , I walk very slow  , and like someone who has a weight upon him .
At a feed , today , as it was closing and I was getting up to go , a staffer was saying , essentially , " move faster ! " to the door :( ...I suppose I look not that handicapped , especially if I have enclosed shoes on (as I do now) , covering the amputated toes  .
The organization that got me into the shelter was rather pestering me to " say yes " to some other housing , but at least in part , they were pushing a board and care home , and " money management " ~ they put it that way ` which I do not like the sound of .
I do not object to paying a reasonable amount of my check for somewhere so stay , not at all , but " money management " sounds like having to argue every single aspect of it ~ and could I ever get out of it ?
Plus , in the past I've had percentage amounts for how much they might want of my check quoted at me that sounded objectionable ~ Far more than an acceptable amount ! However , the fact that I'm " doing better " now , and that I am taking my (Only meical) medical (Which I was before anyway) ~ The counselor was harping on that ~ left open the possibility of a " stabalization " SRO room , temporarily free :) - I emphasise temporarily , and besides that was just spoken of as " Let's see if wee cfan find "/a possibility .
If I got so , I'd take it , but maybe - especially if it was " bathroom down the hall " no toilet - maybe seeing it as a " lead a homeless life indoors " thing  .
On a certain level there's a certain feeling of freedom to carrying everything around on your bacvk and taking care of your own schedule ~ I was walking through a little park and noticing how it was warm to-day and people were sleeping on grass in te sun and I thought about how I'd like to sleep there , I'm sleepy , but that I might oversleep something ~ In the shelter , I am a little obsessed now with , with the shelter serving two meals a day , " not missing a meal ", getting the shelter's two , or substitutes for something if I miss it there , plus the lunch that they don't provide .
Furthermore , too , the counselor is somewhat stringing me along/trying to have me " behave " - My time at the shelter (by the week , or basically) was about to run out , likewise the late pass that lets me officially have an 8 PM curfew rather than a 5 PM curfew ~ At this point both were renewed but just through Friday and I'm supposed to visit him again to get more :? .

I've been physically, and sexually assaulted by women in the past, we have nothing to be ashamed of.

...Walking from the shelter to the feed took me 35-ish minutes , I'd say , to-day...And I was rather pushing myself , and I walked like I had a weight upon my body :( , and I did have to rest some , along the way  ~ Walking slowly in a room , I do wobble  , moving from side to side , having difficulty with my balane as I walk  .

I hear you about modern-day things wearing out fast.
Right now, two of my sweaters have developed huge, gaping holes in the elbows
but I'm afraid to throw them out even though they're really old
because they're made of wool.
They lasted for years and are still okay besides the holes.
If I buy new ones, they might fall apart, like you said, within weeks.
I went to a store to check out new sweaters,
and they looked all mis-shapen,
like they weren't even sewed straight.
So I left without buying any.
(Of course I went to the cheap store,
but even the good stores are cheap these days ...
As in, you pay a lot for junk.)

There are some who predict, ASS-P,
that our society will soon collapse and rebuild
into a place where people actually care about each other.
Then they'll care about things like quality shoes and sweaters.

Hope you're getting along all right.

...While my money came , it's not much more ...Maybe it comes to about 300 dollars , in my pocket/accounts , just now ~ As I said I get in in weekly chunks , it's just that February's shortness makes for one less " official " week , so the first week is more .
