So I took quite a lot of testing, a lot of discussion, with my psychologist and I finally got my report back. I was diagnosed with autism, math learning disability, and ptsd. The testing/report also stated I had very poor working memory and I was very borderline-ADD with my ability to focus. My reading (outloud) ability (fluency) was also poor, but my ability to comprehend was above college level. A lot of everything else was pretty average in terms of learning/classwork.

My psych is going to put referrals in for both a case manager and vocational rehab. I recently had to pull out of my retail job because I couldn't deal with the social aspects of it and they refused to allow me accommodations to help me cope with the demands the manager would put on me (on top of normal job activities) (I had no issues doing my job, but dealing with management/authority figures alone really scares me and I have complete meltdowns because it's too much.. and they were constantly on me about my coping abilities and tools.).

I've never had case management or voc rehab, can anyone share their experiences with both of them? And maybe suggest other programs/things that may help with jobs/buying land/buying a home?

Thanks.
