my mom just told me about an e-mail she just got from the high school principal ( i go to the middle school)
it said thye found a threat on a girls bathroom's mirror.
it said "this will be virginia tech in five days!"
i don't go to the high school but i know tons of really great people their and they haven't caught the person
I AM REALLY SCARED

My school's been doing the same thing. Trust me, they're all rumors so there's nothing to worry about.

but i have a really bad feeling. it's not a rumor because the princapal sent a picture of it in cas of handwriting.

My principal made a phone call to every single parent saying that there were a bunch of threats and that it was just a rumor. Your principal is probably trying to figure out who made the threat to expel them.

Can you verify it ws sent by the principal? Some people 'copy cat' or hoax past threats. The should close the school until they get to the bottom of it. Should be able to do forensics on the mirror, etc. Don't be scared, I you or your friends really don't feel safe stay at home until they get more information.

its nothing. there was a some kids at my school a few years ago talking about blowing the school up on 420 ironically. there was all these rumours about them using propane from the chem lab, and gun powder from the armeries where the cadets go. some rumours about who it was, and said cops found 4lbs of gun powder in their houses. the news got wind of it and where filming outside the school on the day it was "planned" for; then lunch started so every1 was going outside, and they said they evacuated the school it was nothing, and only a few ppl took it seriously.

oh..i was concerned there would most likely be come copycat stuff...at least threats...

There was a rash of threats after Columbine, and a similar epidemic after the Principal was
killed in Red Lion PA, near where I live, a few years ago.

the news dont make it real. its just some kid trying to stir up s**t. if he really was ganna do it, he wouldnt tell ppl.....

Squier, hon relax. My schools have had threats many, many, many times, and none were ever carried out. The police will catch the person who made the threat soon enough, punish them, and you will be safe.

i was watching news the other day it was talking about another shooting before, the kid who did it is serving life
he told his freinds he told them that if they told someone it wouldnt stop him, so all they could do is stay home from school that day
