Someone with dyspraxia may not have fine motor control problems related to
dysgraphia. In my case I had gross motor control problems and fine motor control problems such as dysgraphia. Though not as bad as when I was younger.

So to say you have dysgraphia is only to stated a precise feature of dyspraxia you have. Like thoughts of suicide are common feature of depression but a person maybe very depressed and not have thoughts of suicide.

Dysgraphia was brought up to me once in a therapy session.

Well without looking it up. Its a neurological disorder effecting motor control.
Dysgraphia often manifest as very bad handwriting due to the inability to control fine motor movements. Dyspraxia in my case means I was bad at ball sports , could not play the piano, do jumping jack till my early teens, etc.

Dyspraxia has something to do with, say like, your cordnation(sp?) and your motor skills and stuff like that.

Luke Jackson(the guy who wrote "Freaks,Geeks,And Asperger Syndrome")said in his book that his older brother has it,and that it basically means "clumbsy".

I dated someone with that, and for him, the bad handwriting was the main effect of the condition.

Dysgraphia works two ways: either it is dued to phisical clumsiness or it comes from trying to write two things at the same times (it involves lack of concentration). I am more the latter, sometimes I write words starting from the second letter. It's not so serious that it needs a label though.

Technicly the main difference is the physical pain in the wrist when writing.
