I have had this chronic problem for a long time, nobody seems to appreciate me or what I do, even though I work my tail off in most situations. I am also bored everyday (other than when I'm doing schoolwork) because I do the same thing over an over everyday. I hate this situation. Anyone have any advice? Anyone in the same boat? Thanks for listening.

Apart of me feels unappreciated but that could be due to the mere fact that there are only a few people who actually know me. I have no friends; no family members who I feel particularly comfortable to be around and only two casual acquaintances, both of whom I seldom see. Most of the time, I am the invisible man. My life is completely devoid of meaning because there's no one else in it. It's like a film in which there's only character and there's no narrative. :(

Not only am I in the same boat but the same county and state as well. Must be fairly common. But yes I do the same thing every day with little to no appreciation for my work or disabilities. I feel invisible too. Ever since I was a child people just ignored me.

I forgot to add, is there anything I can do to change this? If not what are ideas to cope with it?

Try finding a new interest to help cope. Sometimes the new distraction helps for a while
