Unaware of facial expressions?
Most of the time I am unaware that I'm making facial expressions, for example, people ask me "why have you been smiling for the last ten minutes?", when I don't realise I'm actually smiling. At a family gathering a few days ago, my parents told me that I looked very angry, but again, it was unintentional and I didn't realise I came across that way. I'm not really aware of my emotions either until I have a very strong emotional outburst, and I don't know whether my facial expressions match my mood-- unless I am in a conversation, when I intentionally laugh and smile so the person will hopefully like me. Apart from that, I don't intentionally make facial expressions. Does anyone relate to this?
