This might be a really strange question but I've been thinking about this for a while - I had one special interest from the age of 14 to 23, and then I went off it in a big way.
Since then I've been finding different things to obsess about every few months, and not really sticking with anything?

It's really inconvenient because I'll be determined to find out everything I can about something in a short space of time, which is really cutting into the time I have for day-to-day life things.

I was just wondering if this has ever happened to any of you, and if any of you had advice on how to balance regular life with a new, intense, special interest that's taking over my thoughts?
