this common in autism?

and i dont usually realize im doing it.

A lot of people have this, including non-autistics. Typically manifests as tapping fingers on a desk/table, playing with hair or pens/pencils, crossing/uncrossing legs, etc... Some constant movements are socially acceptable. The main difference between autistic and not is that autistic movements are not usually socially acceptable i.e. rocking, flapping, pacing, jumping and so on.
