Anyone else loathe loud motorcycles?

I'm not complaining, I love warm temperatures and lovely sunshine, but it seems that when the weather is nice there are more motorcycles about than usual, and a lot of them are so LOUD as they go by. Does anyone else get worried or annoyed by loud motorcycles?

Yes. Everytime I hear one I start freaking out!

I hate loud motorcycles, but I think I hate loud cars even more. At least with motorcycles, you expect them to be loud. There's no reason for loud cars to be that loud, except that the driver is a jerk. (Or else the car needs fixing, which I can understand.)

I'm not a fan of the Harley cans but I'm not bothered by most loud bikes, probably on account of having been on the back of bikes since I was 3 years old (it was the '90s, health and safety wasn't a thing xD). I love loud cars, I have deliberately loud exhausts on both of mine (they're both stainless straight-throughs so they serve a performance aspect too) and going through tunnels at high revs is magnificent I can't stand quiet cars!

Yes, and the crazy people who ride them are a terror on the road! I hate people who drive like speed demons in their cars, too.

I like the normal sound of motorcycles. But not the ones with the hollowed out pipes.

HATE them! Especially if I'm just sitting there and someone gets on their bike and revs the throttle for like 10 mins trying to warm the engine up.

The sound doesn't bother me although it's annoying when it goes on too long, but the way some of them drive makes me anxious for them to get away from me.

I don't really see the point of it and it can certainly startle me if one starts up or goes by unexpectedly...So it can be a bit annoying. But its not a big deal to me, like if I am going for a walk it won't be ruined because a loud bike goes by.

I also don't like motorcycles for the same reason. I like scooters a lot better.

I feel shaken by the sound of loud motorcycles. Also people revving their car engines. I hope vehicles become quieter soon.

Of course I loathe them. Think about it: would they go out of their way to make those noises if they wanted to be nice? No way. They’re marking their territory, and this involves making everyone else in it uncomfortable, so they know they’re at their mercy.

While we're on the topic, I also hate cars that blast their music, especially with a loud bass beat. I silently wish that those drivers will go deaf sooner rather than later.
