Hi,
I have this weird sleep disorder and I can't figure out what it is or what to do with it.
1. I dream quite much, very much. And they are very complex. like whole movies, but nonsensical ones. I believe most of the night I dream and have probably very little deep sleep. I used the app sleep as android and it shows mostly "light sleep". I have no comparison to other people's sleep profile, but it shows pretty much of the graph "light sleep" not even REM.
2. I can't wake up in the morning, and go ... pychotic? I sleep from like 23:00 until 11:00 AM and the sleep as android shows all "light sleep" since 06:00. The beginning of the sleep is also pretty much the same thing (light sleep). I have 3 phases of deep sleep between 3:00-6:00.
The thing is I can't wake up at all because my body is totally tired, but my mind will start thinking about the dreams I had in a weird way. I get into loops of nonsensical problem solving or rethinking the last nights dream in psychotic nonsensical ways, and I can't wake up. I'm just pretty stupid and confused and my body wants to go back to sleep. I might sort of wake up, but I'm to stupid to realize I should get out of bed. I go on fighting with my thoughts, which are not logical and I'm caught inside loops and basically it's hell.
3. When I wake up, I'm pretty tired and confused and agitated, and I need hours to feel somewhat normal. It's like my brain is fried.

Am I just sleeping bad or is it some sort of disorder? I've had this pretty often since I was 15. At the time I took Zyprexa it wasn't as bad but I don't think it's justified to take zyprexa for psychosis IN SLEEP. And I would sleep even longer on Zyprexa.
Have you ever heard of such thing?

Possibly Aspie (diagnosed by an autism expert, doc moves abroad, forced to change docs and all say it's schizophrenia NOS or schizo-affective disorde or personality disorders. initial doc was a colleague of uncle Simon btw. you do the math.). (edit: by Uncle Simon I mean Simon Baron Cohen. Just to clear things up.)

Sleep disorders should be diagnosed by an appropriately-trained and licensed medical professional.

What does your doctor say?

They mostly ignore it. But one doc pointed out I might have PTSD and those be nightmares because of that. I'm sure they will just put me back on zyprexa for my supposed schizophrenia.
