Moving towards happiness
Sometimes it is better for yourself to stop trying, desperately, to fit in. I have tried for too many years and i failed. Each time i found myself stuck in 3 situations, socially.
1 - People only want to meet up when they got nobody else on their mind, so you are pretty much the lowest on the ladder who they want to meet up with.
2. People who see you as a tool because you have soms skills (like photography) and only invite you if they want something from you.
3. The older i get, the harder it becomes to connect to anyone. This is becoming increasingly hard for me. It seems that social situations are getting more and more complex as another year passes by.
Which is why i got myself a german Shepherd pup a few week back., to train and never feel lonely. I also need to take a good walk everyday so it seemed like a step in the right direction. I found myself stuck on this crossroad for years. Where do i go?
It was not an easy decision, deleting the People instantly out of my life with no explanation, but they pretty much made me the person who i am Today..
Bitter...cold.. Unable to connect to anyone outside my family. 90% of the People i know outside of dogsport fit in the above categories, keeping them in my life only makes me suffer more than i have already done. Have you ever had to make decisions like this Where enough is enough? That you too deserve happiness?
i have never felt so happy since i fell in love for the first time. It is time to let go - if it is my destiny to live a life alone after all those failed relationships and friendships, i gotta work on my own happiness first.
A Selfish decision? Yes, Maybe i have finally found my first neurotypical trait for the first time in 28 years.

Hi Suncatcher,
To get religious for a moment in a way I think you'll like,
the two Great Commandments are
Love God, and love your neighbor as yourself.
And guess what that means?
To love yourself also ...
because if you don't love yourself properly,
then how can you love your neighbor?
So certainly you have to take care of yourself.
Sometimes fitting in just isn't worth it.
Only ... I hope you won't stay completely bitter or cold.
That's not good for you.
Not really.

I think what i meant by that was.. Uhh,
Once bitten, twice shy, x 1000 times.
I dont hate humanity there is still hope.
Thanks for your kind words
