arghh!! I dont get it!!

Im an aspie and i hate libraries!!

Am i the first? or is thier any other aspies out thier who hate them also?

I love the library, but I hate it when someone's sat in my corner or when people are talking.
What do you hate about libraries?

I love libraries. But I love books so guess that makes sense.

Yeah, I hate them (public libraries) too. All of you dirty people touch the books. Yuck. All you dirty people are there too! Double yuck.

I got my own collection.

No I love libraries, but only ones I know, although I know quite a wide range. And I Don't like it when people some loudly into the library.

I don't like libraries either.

1. Too little backround noise. I need a dull roar (emphasis on dull) otherwise every little sound pops out at me. I find library noise distracting.

2. I don't like the feel of paper, or the sound of paper rustling. I make exceptions for my own books...but libraries are icky.

I hate background noise. Libraries should be completely silent but people are too noisy. Stupid people with their stupid conversations and their stupid sneezing and their stupid breathing loudly.

I work in a library. I love my job and it is an ideal environment for me. The only thing I don't like is when patrons come in reeking of body odor or perfume. I am very smell sensitive. Other than that, I love my job.

I like libraries (and books), and like them much more than most other public places. But I just go in and get out. I don't like that the books have been touched by other people either, and I try to wash my hands after reading them

That is why I wash my hands frequently. It also keeps me from getting sick.

I like our library. It is nicely designed and the art gallery is in the same building, just above. I don't really read many of the books though, I just like to wander around in there and sometimes sit and do my own thing.

I like going to the library and reading books but I don't like it when there are lots of people about. It would be good if I could go when it was practically empty.

I love them. It's where I go to check out books. Sometimes I go in and read before I leave.

I love libraries, I even love the smell of them, all that paper.

I don't like people trying to be quiet, they become inherently loud. I also don't like the ventiallation fans/heaters in my library - they become so loud its like they are inside your head. If I find a nice corner, and take some music I can cope - but they are definitely uncomfortable for me. Whats worse is the book you need has often been kidnapped by someone else and you realise you owe the library money for forgetting to return a book so can't withdraw anything!

My local library has a Wi-Fi cafe, I love the place. But what I can't stand are the other patrons.
They are rude and noisy.
