How many of you have sleeping problems. Are you more of a night time person than a day time one?

I find my mind is a lot clearer at night, than it would be during the day. I can't concentrate, when I feel there are people in my space. I also like the night, because I feel like I am completely alone.

Night. I function better as the day progresses, start feeling okay around dusk and feel best around 11pm.

Yeah, it's 1am here and I am wide awake. I am sorry but I have no idea how late it is for you guys, as you don't have your location. It's obvious where I live

I've always found it hard to sleep at night. My mind just races with thoughts for ages when I close my eyes to try to sleep. When I stay up I concentrate much better than I can during the day like yourself.

Maybe it's the climate though, I'm in Ireland too.

If you really must sleep, I've tried this thing and it works on me.

Sounds just like me most nights. Ironically, I'm often more "with it" and away when I go to sleep than when I wake up.

Interesting, comes with a big price tag though. Are you from Dublin? I have a new AS site for Ireland, you are welcome to join if you wish. I will send you a PM.

Definitely nighttime. I feel best between 10:00PM and 2:00AM; after that, I get tired. Mornings are fine for the most part, surprisingly. It's the time between 1:00PM and 5:00PM when I feel the worst. It starts getting better after 6:00PM, until nighttime. Then then cycle repeats.

I have huge problems with sleep- huuuuuuuuge problems.

I put myself down as a nighttime person because I feel so much more energetic when everything around me quiets down. I get a burst of energy after dinnertime and around 12:00 midnight. If I don't successfully force myself to sleep through the night, I don't feel sleepy again until around 7 or 8 AM when the world wakes up around me and I just want to put in my ear plugs and hide under the covers.

I try to sleep at night though, and be awake during the day. It's difficult and frustrating and exhausting. Sometimes I take antihistamines to help myself get to sleep. The daytime world is so loud and demanding! :(

I am a daytime person. I can't usually stay awake past 9 p.m., and even that is pushing it. If I do stay up late, I pay for it the next morning. I am fortunate to have a daytime job. When I was working at my local newspaper, I worked evenings, and had to drink coffee to stay awake.

I seriously must have something wrong with my Circadian rythm because I don't really even have a sleep/wake cycle. If anything, I practically never sleep. I'm not on any drugs and not taking ANY medications.

I guess that I get more sleep at night but it's never good sleep. About 4 or 5 hours of eternally restless slumber. Usually all I get is a good power nap and then I'm awake by the morning.
