Are you good at puzzles? Even though I am atrocious at maths I seem to find sudoku easy, I'm also good at codeword type quiz's.I am poor at cryptic crosswords and mathematical conundrums like the ones that appear in Mensa tests.

sometimes, sometimes not - I think it depends what state of mind, like how patient I am feeling at the moment. I like suduko, and don't get them wrong - but they can take my up to 20 mins a puzzle.

If I concentrate, I can do Sudoku puzzles really quickly. If I do not concentrate very well, it can take me up to an hour. I love visual games or puzzles like Tetris or Mozaki Blocks on msn games. I don't think those would exactly qualify as puzzles, but I'm very good at them.

I do well with word games and am pretty good at Sudoku. By paying strict attention to the placement of each number, I have been able to do very well with the Sudoku puzzles. Since I read a lot, I find crossword puzzles fun.

This is one area where I'm outside the autistic stereotype, I hate puzzles and I'm actually worse at them than average! As a little kid I thought puzzles were horribly boring and I still have trouble understanding how kids could enjoy them. As for things like Sudoku, they drive me crazy.

I have a general problem with simple math though, so this is probably related to that. I do like some word puzzles, although I loathe crosswords because they're usually full of pop culture references I don't understand. I think crosswords should test my vocabulary, not my knowledge of soap operas :?

Jigsaw puzzles: If I start one I have to finish it, nothing can pull me away, and I usually will do 3-4 a night if I start doing them. I don't even care about the picture at the end, I do it for the challenge.

Logic puzzles: Love them!

Crossword puzzles: I do about 1-2 a day. If I can't finish it I throw it out. I never look at the answers and write them in. If I look then I'm done.

Word scrambles are fun, too. But I suck at math so sudoku terrifies me.

Puzzles were one of my obsessions. I used to get a real high out of getting a new puzzle book. Did mainly kriss kross and crosswords.

Suduku isn't actually math - numbers are used as they are simple to see and 'check off' you could equally use letters, shapes (slightly harder) or even icons.

I hate stuff to do with pop culture as well. I'd like some more logic puzzle kind of things though - I always come up with 'wrong' ways of doing stuff :)

I used to know of this one website with every type of puzzle imaginable on it. But the thing is, I haven't checked it out in, like, five years so I don't remember what it is... I'll see if I can find it sometime though.

I use to do crosswords but find it pretty difficult as I have a form of dyslexia and may know the word but my selling it wrong will screw everything else up....I am also lousy at figuring out their stupid "puns" and have a horrible name recall....so they are hard work for me and I could waste a day on trying to complete a Sunday crosswords(even looking up obscure names of African Rivers....what a waste of time for someone who will never remember it next time I see the question....arg

I am a "sudoku maniac"(like the turtle lady from the commercial  )I cant say I am great at them but they are addictive and can be both stimulating and relaxing....how is that possible?but they are.
