i know there are other threads on this but there is not a answer on why they say this.


they say there is someone for everybody or somebody out there for everyone.



is this a automatic answer?

Look at t logically from the law of large numbers.

There's about 7 Billion people in the world.

That would imply a match is possible.

Finding that match is the trick for everybody, NT or ND.

It is a pithy, automatic answer when they don't know what else to say. I find it insulting. Like there is an unspoken insult at the end. "There is someone out there for everybody, but I don't know who would want you". Like that.

But I find it as insulting as someone who tells a woman/couple with diagnosed infertility issues to 'just relax', or 'when you are meant to have more kids, you will' (or the religious equivocal, when GOD wants you to have more kids).

I think it is very condescending.
