As has been noted in this thread, over half the people here on WrongPlanet.net do not in fact have Asperger's syndrome. This is due to a coordinated effort by the NT base to oppress us through the strategy of divide and conquer. You, of course, dear reader, are one of the real aspies here; but you and I are surrounded by pretenders who want nothing less than to confuse us, imitate us, and then intimidate us. I have a mnemonic for our counter-strategy:

Attend: Truly listen to what other people are saying and listen for the meaning behind the meaning behind the meaning; then you will develop a suspicion that they may not have AS
Respond: Let them know you're on to them and will not tolerate their imposture.
Suspend: Cease any further interaction with the devious ones.
Expel: Befriend the forum moderators and use these social connections to have our NeuroTypical enemies banned from our haven

Now that you know what to do, get to work, and let's make this a better place for the real aspies!

I am an NT. There is no plan to "oppress" or "conquer."

I simply intend to understand and discuss.

That might be difficult, I have a lot of trouble seeing behind meanings and intentions, not surprisingly

don't see the need for the conspiracy theory. I think most of the NT's on this forum are family/friends/partners of people with aspergers trying to understand.

your premise is faulty NeantHumain

Just because a group of people has decided that 'over half the people here on WrongPlanet.net do not 'in fact' have Asperger's Syndrome" doesn't make it so.

No one knows how many 'real' Aspies there are on this site. Where do you get your data?

I have a few nice NT friends. They say I can always make them laugh. They also have mentioned that I bring up subjects that they never thought about and it gets them talking with more introspection.

It's not because I have such a wonderful mind. It's because, as I struggle to figure out hwo to get by with my delicate temperament, I pick up some interesting insights that some NTs find compelling, usually Sagitarians. Don't know why.

I expected the link to be to a thread I remembered which was a poll where you had to choose between diagnosed aspie, undiagnosed aspie and NT, but it isn't. It's a link to MW99's ill thought out ramblings about how half the people on this site can't have aspergers because they have empathy. 'Over half' is one very dubious statistic says I!

Unless my sarcasm detector has failed to detect that this is a parody??????/

And where did you get the idea that this was a purist site?

Try reading the first page, it explains that this is not just for you, but for a lot of people.

I would rather have them here than your concept of an exclusive club.
