will a weighted blanket help me sleep

i really want too get a weighted blanket will it help me sleep at night i still have lots of bad dreams, i still fear lots of things im scared of some stuff like deep water will getting a weighted blanket calm me down at night

It certainly helps me.

I always hated the summer, when it is too hot to have much blankets etc. on the bed - I feel like I'm just going to float off, and can't ever get comfortable. I don't even like having my head or feet outside the covers. I always slept much better in winter, when I would pile up all my blankets and sleeping bags on top of the duvet.

I'd just try experimenting with lots of layers of bedding at first to see how you get on with it, as weighted blankets can be a bit expensive. But if it works for you, go for it - you can get ones that are thin enough not to get too hot in the summer, but still have enough weight to feel properly "tucked up" in bed.
