Any thoughts on this? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paruresis

One example is inability to pee in the company of others, e.g. in public restrooms.

I can never pee when someone is watching me. I have to close the bathroom door.

Interesting. I didn't know there was an actual medical word for it..

I can't say I have this problem, though..

No one ever watches me while I pee, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to if they did. lol
I avoid public toilets wherever possible. They're dirty and they make me nervous.

I hate it if I think someone might hear me

A lot of people find it difficult to piss with other people watching. It's not an aspie thing by any means.

I occasionally get this (mainly if there are a group of people in there talking), but normally I can piss no matter who's watching. In fact half the time I can piss in situations most other people might find uncomfortable .

This is extremely common. I don't have this exactly. I just don't like the idea of stand at a urinal. Often I have to go in the cubicle.

The only toilet lid I will actually sit on is the one at my house or a friend's house. Other toilet seats, I either hover over or I put toilet paper on the seats. In fact, I cannot understand how people can actually SIT on public toilet lids. Yikes!
