Okay i could just be paranoid but i have seen the film 'rainman' and to a degree the relationship dustin hoffmans character has with tom cruises character in that movie reminds me of the relationship i have with my NT brother.

my brother for a joke once in a blue moon calls me "Rainman" becaue he knows i have aspergers.

Do you think if i was as bad as rainman i would not be typing what i am now? I know i am quircky and ecentric

i have NT friends and went to a normal mainstream school growing up (after my parents appealed agianst me going to a special school)

Well i do sometimes find myself sitting a table with my brother and he does not engross me in a conversation.

There's at least two things going on - your thoughts and your neurology. BOTH are in your head.

Your thoughts you can work on, to some extent. New information, rethinking old information. You can make a lot of adjustments.

You neurology your sort of stuck with. Some drugs can change your brain chemistry, so even this isn't absolute.

But, yeah. It's all in your head.

Well it was kinda my question because i mentioned the relationship with my brother can be difficult at times.

Same here, and I have three brothers ...

1) Thinks somewhat like me but is afraid of that;

2) Thinks I am brilliant and is afraid of that;

The thingg is you haven't defined a question about your brother. You asked if it's all in your head which it obviously is since AS is a neurobiological disorder. You asked about rainman. You wouldn't even be on here if you were like that (which is pretty obvious). So ask the question you actually want answered.
