On a lot of message boards I get told I sound like a child full of energy excited etc. things such as grow up etc. excited and full of energy was the latest message from a fellow gamer. :-)

Positive words yes but I'm a 30 yr. old adult female are adults supposed to hate the world? f**k THE WORLD MY LIFE SUCKS DEPRESSION STRESS! OMG OMG DAMN IT! MOAN MOAN MOAN!

Vs. finding something they can be excited over! IMO that's finding fellow gamers to play with do adults not have stuff that 'excites" them?

My sister did the stimming trait of clapping (no spectrum NT) since OMG! her wine was on sale one week.

Uh I get excited over new gaming friends or games or even a new episode of a favorite show that is going to air that week. Going to find out a big secret with the bad guy in *insert show*

To others it's "just a show" to them it's "wind down end of day" the story the characters MEAN NOTHING TO THEM!

IMO then why do you watch the shows????

My dad a Walking Dead fan is clueless when I call off character names X person will be a voice in a movie or in a new show coming out HE'S CLUELESS! and he says Walking Dead is his favorite show!

Anyone relate to any of this? Thank You WP.

People tend to think I'm youthful in personality and appearance, but I appear so in a different way. I like to do things such as: try and race elevators by taking the stairs, sneak around my office by hiding behind the dividers, hide easters eggs around the office, etc. If it seems like fun at the time and is relatively harmless then why not? I guess it could make you look immature and therefore hurt your chances of getting a promotion or something like that. Responsibility might be overrated anyway :D

They might just think you seem childish because of your writing style, which uses a lot of exclamation points, multiple question marks, and the constant repetition of "OMG!" Grownups get excited about stuff, too, but tend to use periods, single punctuation marks, and no more than one use of OMG per post.

Thanks. Usually OMG for me = excited a lot or upset OMG! mom upset me (for example) or in this topic case OMG! (complain complain complain about life/work etc.) moan moan moan and people don't tend to get excited as I do over things. :-)
