Why are you all posting stuff about being gay most of the time?

I' read a article saying that 10% of people have autism. Suddenly theres a post about you can refer autism with being gay?

- I really don't get it and i think its quite weird.

I've just started looking at this forum, past forums ive been looking on has some unwritten rules among the members or "quotes" wondering if those were one of them.

I've had my thoughts about the subject, but i can' relate really other than a single fantasy and that's it..

There seems to be no specific link between autism and sexuality. However, people with autism are more likely to discuss their sexuality on websites like this, because their identities will be hidden, and they're less likely to be persecuted by the more closeted and clueless people of a more neurotypical mind-set.

Gay-bashing is forbidden here, with gay-bashers getting themselves banned quickly, so this might also play into the comfort level that gay autistic people may have on this website.

There are many gay people here, there are many straight people here. And many people in-between.

We stick up for each other.

I don't think the prevalence rate is quite 1 in 10 yet.

Also I haven't noticed people on this forum speaking more about being gay than anywhere, really. If you don't want to read the thread, then just don't read it.

Well, if 10% of people are autistics and 10% of people are gay, it makes perfect sense to conclude all autistics are gay, doesn’t it? :P

Um....

Right.

And ten percent of the American population is left handed. And ten (okay its really 12- but close enough) percent of Americans are Black.

So all autistics are gay, left handed, and are Black!

Lol!

And no autistics are right handed straight White folks!

How is this solipsism? Solipsism deals only with the self, not others or the assumption of others.

Merriam-Webster:
a theory in philosophy that your own existence is the only thing that is real or that can be known

Unless I am missing something....entirely possible, I can tell ya.

It's just a joke, because there is a lot of faulty logic in this thread :P

Solipsism isn’t an option, because there’s but one solipsist and it’s me.
