im pretty sure it was autistic disorder or something.

i had modified tests and prob had extra time on it.

science stuff and careers stuff.

im visual instead of verbal.

ive been hearing people with autism are more visual then verbal then people with asperger which AKA all autism spectrum disorder.

I was diagnosed with autism around 1964. What was then called Infantile Autism.

Originally? Probably being a bratty child. I'd have to ask my original child psychologist, whom I despised.

I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome in 2004 at age 6. My first grade teacher (who has a son with Asperger's that I later became friends with, although it was more of an arranged friendship) told my parents that I might be on the spectrum after noticing some of my odd behaviors. I was taken to see this mental health expert at the University of Utah who after spending a bit of time with me determined that I most definitely had Asperger's. If I were diagnosed with DSM 5 then I would probably get a diagnosis of ASD level 1 without intellectual impairment.

As a child

"Being a fa***t who needs to man up"

"Bringing it upon himself by being so weird"

Then well in to adulthood: asperger's syndrome.

You mean before Asperger's, Autistic Disorder, and PDD-NOS were combined into Autism Spectrum Disorder?

Or do you mean like what was your first diagnosis in your life?

If by originally you mean before the inclusion of Asperger's as a diagnosis, then nothing (besides asthma, allergies and eczema).

Aspergers in early 2009.

I was given the ambiguous diagnosis of "generalized anxiety disorder" when I was around the age of 12. About a year ago, things finally came to a head in terms of depression/suicidal thoughts so I went to a pdoc, who confirmed my (incorrect) thoughts about having bipolar disorder. Then, a couple months after that, I was given the correct diagnosis of Aspergers by another psychiatrist.

At first it was ADHD with early hyperactivity.
