Alarm went off at 05:20 today and I got up. I started getting wound up about the day and having to deal with people. By the time I got showered and shaved I was pretty anxious. I told my Wife that I couldn’t got to work today because I don’t have any clean work clothes to wear.

That’s when she told me it is Sunday. I don’t work on days that begin with “S”. Feeling much better now.

I haven't worked on a day that starts with "s" since about 2010.

Now that you're clean, you can take a nice walk.

I work on Sillydays, Slumberdays, Sluggishdays, Stinkdays and Sombredays. If you can call that working, but that's another story.

That don't count silly. Those are only subcategories of the days between M & F. As such, I also work on those days.

Heya,

I don't work my "day job" at weekends. But I do try and be helpful and I also try to do some adventures on the days that start with S. I'm at the mothercare care writing on my iPad today, something I do on many days with and without an S.

I wish you a relaxing day off. Hopefully the happy times you have today will help you get through the upcoming work week.

You must not become one of those people who don't work on days that end with "Y" :)

You mean they're too busy to utter the name of the day in full, don't you?

And holidays were made by our foefathers to trick women into not screaming at us for not going to work. Thats why we must embrace 'mockingbird day' and 'groundhog day' like national treasures once again.
