I don't just mean any kind of arm-flapping...I mean in the context of stimming and/or to express emotion. My fiance jokes about my flapping, but I'm realizing that he does the same exact thing, and he swears he's always done it. Is it just a really common thing to do?

My guess is that there is no absolutely AS exclusive trait. I think AS is defined by having a lot of traits, and to a degree that they at least partially define the person. Aspie space is a highly elastic multidimensional manifold.

Some do, some don't. I did it when I was younger. These days it is rare.
