Do you want to be treat as an equal o other NT's?

What does this mean?

It probably means that you'll get laughed at sometimes, maybe for doing something daft, talking out of turn, or just because others don't know how to respond and their coping mechanism is to laugh (not necessarily at you but actually with you!) BTW, if you make absolute statements which use words like "everyone", "nobody", "never", "always", then many will instantly see an error in your logic because absolutes are rarely true! Especially if you say such things to your parents, e.g. "everybody hates me", their first thought will be "I don't", but such things aren't just true of Aspies, its laughed at as a teenage thing, its called growing up!

It will definitely mean that others will disagree with you at times, difference is good!

Will people be rude to you, oh yes! Will you be rude to them, oh yes, even without you realising it!

Will people try to beat you, out do you to take your job, oh yes! But don't let it get you down, use it to spur you on, use your keen analytical skills to come back and win the day.

The majority of NT's don't have an easy life either!

What examples have you got of thinking you were pushed aside for being AS but in reality could be explained away?
* Yes at times your AS will be used against you for real, no denying that, but don't always jump to that conclusion first!

It depends on what you mean by "equal." Should we all have equal rights, yes. Should there be equal expectations as to what we can do or manage in all aspects of life that ignore what our individual skills and weaknesses are, holding us up to some "well, if most people can..." Absolutely not. I was treated as more or less NT for two decades, with all of the expectations--if you just try harder--and none of the benefits of actually being an NT. And I was certainly never treated as NT by my peers. I don't think anyone has ever implied they automatically have it easy, of course they don't. But they are NTs, and that comes with a lot of perks that they probably never even realize.
