To those who get criticized for being blunt: are you ever offended by people pointing out your flaws or having an arrogant tone of voice when telling you something?

I haven't finished my coffee, so I don't entirely understand your question.

Are you asking if anyone is in the habit of saying blunt things, but is offended when OTHER people are critical with them or talk to them in a way that sounds rude?

IF that's what you're saying- I think I can answer. Naturally, I do not see what I do as rude or wrong and I see pretty much any criticism of my own actions as hostile. I have been lucky enough to have other blunt people (usually autistic people) tell me about specific things that I have done that should have been done in another way. I have learned over the years to be quiet and consult with another person before reacting when I think someone is being hostile because I could be wrong.

I'm new to this, having just been diagnosed with ASD two days ago, but I just had a funny experience about ten minutes ago regarding this.

A guy I work with was talking to me and another guy and said "hey, remember that time when you had just joined the team a few months back and Kenny was telling you about something he did on his trip to Africa and you just told him right to his face how stupid he was?!" I replied, yeah I remember that... I have a condition that makes me say blunt things to people faces. They laughed; they don't know about the diagnosis.

Then the other guy tells me "yeah, you have a dry sarcastic sense of humor, your face is really tough to read." So I reply "yeah, my condition prevents my face from displaying any emotion." I'm joking with them, they have no idea.

(I hope it doesn't offend anyone on here that I took this approach with it, but it's just my nature to have fun with things.)
