I noticed a lot of people here do this and I remember when I was younger I would do this a lot, it actually became such a huge obsession in grade eight that I almost wrote a whole paper backwards.

I haven't particularly seen it as a "trait" so to say but I guess it makes sense, is it a trait or are we just a little special?

I don't like anything that isn't quite english. Example is pig latin. I can't stand it. But then again I have CAPD so it makes anything that is not clear english (which is hard enough to understand) even harder to understand. I think I am a tiny bit dyslexic too (like in math I switch numbers around and make "careless" mistakes, or I read words wrong because I am not "paying close enough attention".)

my boyfriend types on aim like that a lot and it took me a looong time to get used to it. (not backwards but getting the letters mixed up, it's like reading code).

I remember 5th grade of primary school, my class and I were reading a story (it was like a comic format) about a girl who was obsessed with mirrors and one day she achieved her goal of being in the "mirror's world". There was a picture of the story (the final one) when the girl and her cat were in the mirror's world and they were talking backwards. Teacher left for homework to make a final for that story.

I wrote some parts of my story on backwards, when the teacher read it she thought I had a language problem and talked to me about the homework. I told her "They are on mirror's world and they are talking backwards" I got a 10

my son and I sing the alphabet backwards a lot of the time, and he's always telling me what words spell if they are backwards

I suppose this would just be classified as an obsession than, it seems like everything here is pointing to this. Well.. cool I guess? I don't do it as much anymore.
