Yeah, this is basically the question. I've been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder but I literally have no sensory issues other than eating and chewing on things because of how they feel. Is this normal? Is anyone else like this?

Chewing on things because of how they feel is a "sensory issue". It manifests in many different ways. I don't have any strong sensory problems either, but I do have some.

To my knowledge, about 3/4 of individuals on the autistic spectrum have sensory issues. It's also worth noting that the autistic population only account for a small fraction of those with sensory issues.

Personally, I don't have any sensory issues.

That is why he said "other than."
