Is Everybody Hates Chris relatable?

it relates to me because he has one friend, bad things always happen to him and he gets bullied alot. The only things that I can't relate is he is black and I didn't had a Tasha in my life

I haven't ever seen "Everybody Hates Chris."
This is the second time I've heard it mentioned here on Wrong Planet.
I suppose I could Google and find it on YouTube.

My bet is there are some ways I can relate
and other ways I won't.

I'm a middle-aged single female, so there's that.

That said, I've heard that Charlie Brown is a character
that everyone can relate to.
He's the underdog.
He has typical, average problems and insecurities.
And Lucy always pulls the football away at the last moment,
every single time,
so Charlie Brown ends up taking a fall
and Lucy ends up laughing at him.
But we all deep in our hearts
really want Charlie Brown to kick that football ...

I used to like that show a lot . I related to how the other kids were his parents' favourites. I would often get told off for things my brother did, even if my parents knew he had done them. For example, one time he kicked my friend and I got told off for letting him do it (whaaaat? ). He is 18 now, I am 22, and just this evening it happened again. I was watching TV with mum, he came in and started trying to bug me, and mum told me off for interrupting her programme, even though he was right there. Damn it!! Everybody Hates Rachel !

I find it very easy to relate to the main character of Everybody Hates Chris. My parents always preferred my sister over me. It was even more obvious the first 4 months of this year. We can't have somebody like Shelby in our Anglo-Canadian family. Shelby is a Nazi. Let's disown Shelby. I'm glad my mum thought twice about disowning me. At least I feel like a part of my family again after an 11 week break from them.

People do know the show is somewhat auto biographical. Partly based on Chris Rocks childhood.
