I miss a lot of information in daily life. I especially miss much of what is being said. One word sets off a row of thoughts and I miss the following.
I miss info on formulas, hence asking a lot of dumb questions. I miss parts of texts.
If stressed, I sometimes only catch 20% - if it´s really bad.
It is very obvious to those, who know me.
I had similar problems at school, - but no motordriven behavior - more something like stiffening up.

This happens in the "turmoil" of daily life - in the confetti-tunnell.
Trouble initiating chore-activity and confetti-wise focus is a daily nuisance and seem like "partners".

(However, if I am allowed/given time to focus on a subject/task, there are no problems. Then, I´m intense).

Is this part of ASD or is it an ADD "bonus"?

That's not out of the realm of possibility.

I experience similar things. I feel I could be diagnosed with ADD, Inattentive type pretty easily, should I seek the diagnosis.

Yeah! Inattentive variant - that was what my psychologist suggested too - and many have.
Maybe I´ll ask my doc tomorrow. I´d like to know.
