I hated everything about smoking except for the high and how it gave you a good excuse to get away from people.

This ad made me want to start smoking

Yes - smokers, the minority that you are legally obliged to persecute (to echo Joe Jackson).

I don't smoke but I do use nicotine patch and nicotine gum occasionally... Because nicotine does some beneficial things.

Yes, that's true, nicotine has been used therapeutically, so I read, for particular kinds of rashes.

I love it but can't do it because I have breathing difficulties sometimes and that really bothers it. When I was a regular cigarette smoker I always had low energy. When i switched to cigar smoking I messed myself up because it was hard to smoke them properly. Since I was a cigarette smoker, and am a regular pot smoker, the not inhaling thing just wasn't happening. Especially when having a few drinks. So I inhaled a far too high amount of cigar smoke and my .breathing has been bad ever since.

It's unfortunate because I really miss the sensation and habitual aspect of smoking. Never cared much for the taste of any tobacco, but I loved inhaling and exhaling smoke, and playing with it as I blow it out. Since I do still smoke pot I get this in small doses, but you don't usually want to go smoking your weed blowing it all around unless you hive piles of the stuff.

I am a smoker and personally dont really like it too much anymore. Alas it is now a habit.. I actually used to hate smoking but forced myself to try to fit in with the crowd at boarding school, i was a highly sporting aspie, rare i know but being at boarding school there are not many ways to follow interests, so sport became one of them as i was able to use the facilities often on my own and would lose myself in such sports which led me on to being doog enough to play at county level in many areas and almost national level. However the smoking was again just away to try to fit in, i would gag, even throw up afterwards, but i persisted just to try to fit in... I remember the exact day the ""headspins"" stopped, from that day on i was hooked.. In earlier life it wasnt so bad on the body but later on it has caught up as has the side effects of putting my body through intense sporting rituals. Its an odd one now as i enjoy it but i dont, the paradox of said drug.. However despite my regret ever starting as it seemed to make no difference anyway to my social circle, i believe everybody has a right to that decision. :D

I used to be a smoker and I loved it until it started to take a toll on my lungs and my wallet. I use a vapor now. I'll allow myself about 2 cigarettes a year.

I don't smoke but at social gatherings I like to go outside with the smokers to escape the crowd and noise for a few minutes.
