on the validity of an AS diagnosis

I was diagnosed with AS in January 2014 after two weeks of tests. My question is, how valid is an AS diagnosis considering social and environmental factors?

The reason I'm saying this is because I was born in Montréal but grew up in different countries because of my father's job (energy consultant), we lived in Canada, Norway, Costa-Rica, Bulgaria... I saw my first psychologist at age 15 for behavioral problems at school and a second one when I was 18 because of depression and generalized anxiety symptoms... I started seeing a psychiatric team at the Douglas Hospital during September 2011 because of panic attacks and one year later I was diagnosed with cyclothymia, succinctly transferred to the mood disorder clinic... I got a job as a cashier in a library and started school again in September 2012... I saw a new psychiatrist ans was diagnosed with bipolar disorder (type II) and antisocial personality disorder... It took until October 2013 (when my mother contacted a new psychologist) to receive the AS diagnosis...

How common is it to have bipolar disorder, personality disorders and Asperger's Syndrome at the same time?
What are the different ways of understanding the diagnosis according to american, canadian, québécois, norwegian and french psychiatric systems?

I was diagnosed late 2011 with aspergers syndrome, after I was diagnosed i was assigned to a therapist working with adolecent teens with high functioning autism.

When the DMS 5 dimissed Aspergers i asked him to change it, he used his knowledge of how he knew me and information he got from the previous evaluations and then changed it to DSM 5.

I wish i could help you more but thats how i got mine changed, my psychologist was a licensened goverment run public psychologist but i was evaluated by public psychologist and psychyatrist at a hospital.
