I am funny about pain. When I get hurt, people will come rushing over asking if I am okay and if it hurts. If I say "I'm fine, I have a high tolerance to pain" people will wrinkle their noses and go "oh" and walk away.

Also, when I see someone in minor physical pain complaining, I often think they are faking it to get attention. I know my pain tolerance is higher than the average person, but I still can't stop thinking this.

I want to be able to have empathy for people with a low-average pain tolerance and I feel that people are nicer to those with a low pain tolerance.

I'll trade pain tolerances with you. Try having people make fun of you because something hurts you that doesn't hurt anyone else.
