Nah, I treat being an aspie as a good thing, considering it's not really curable. Other than the way I'm no good at interacting with people  my aspieness is a positive.
I don't have a girlfriend. Yet.

Maybe you should stop pointing the finger.
It does interfere with social equities but its also something that you can work your way around.
Not all females are interested in the social bug.

I gather you're younger, if I'm incorrect about this make the next statements void.
However, if you are younger especially in teenager years keep in mind that the typical NT teenager doesn't give a damn about long term relationships, have no idea what love is or if they really feel it, ect. They just want to fit in, be cool and be accepted. Pursuing your interests and involving yourself in fields that you specialize in will enhance your chance of meeting someone interesting and someone who actually likes YOU and YOUR abilities rather than liking you for how much money you have, how hot you are and your social status. Wish I learned this earlier.

To answer your question on personal terms, no I do not hate it.
It gets in the way and can be a troubling thing, its put me through hell for sure but hey.. life moves on.

With time, determination and practice I will prevail. I don't want to get rid of it, I will instead use it to my advantage.

My aspie traits are some of my favorite things about who I am: passion for what I love, detachment from the silly things most people chase after, intelligence. I wouldn't change a thing.

As for relationships, anyone who can love can have a beautiful relationship. All you need is love... (didn't somebody say that before? ;) )

Not today, at any rate...

I don't hate my AS. I hate myself sometimes, I guess that includes me AS but I wouldn't blame it entirely on that though. There are other aspects of my personality besides AS which are to blame for a lot of my problems.

I don't hate my AS... I just feel embarrassed about my quirky thoughts and behaviors sometimes.

Don't feel sad. Someday you'll meet the girl of your dreams. Maybe she'll have AS too! :)
