Transition Programs (College or workforce)
Okay I have a somewhat weird reason for asking about this, so bare with me a second. I was wondering if anyone around here has had any success (or have kids who have had any success) with any sort of program for transitioning to "adult" life. I am mostly looking, because I really want to try working in this field (I am on the spectrum myself, which gets tiring of trying to get into this field that wants to help transition people on the spectrum into adult life... then gets an application from me who is overqualified for just about any position I apply for... but I digress) after having so little success in the education field, but am constantly running into a brick wall. Just knowing where to apply that actually lives up to their stated desires might help so much. So basically, any experience, and how was it?
