Hi,
I want to get a pair of discrete earbuds that will help me deal with crowd noise/loud atmospheric music/loud fan noise at parties and other events as well as maybe when I'm in the city. I was thinking of getting a pair of Shure earbuds with detachable cords, but I saw that there are a couple of levels of them. Does anyone know the difference? It mostly looks like you get 2 more pairs of earbud covers to try with the ones that are $100 more. I want something small that I could maybe even cover with my hair since I otherwise pass pretty well (so I don't have to out myself to every person I meet) and my field really isn't as ASD friendly as say engineering.
So, to repeat, does anyone else own a Shure product or other noise-isolating/cancelling product? What features make the biggest difference for crowd noise?
