I am wondering about the medication options to reduce the severe reaction to change i have.
Does anyone have experience with this?

The reaction isn't a unique reaction, its essentially a panic attack leading to a meltdown. So anxiety or the flight or fight response to change in routine and setting is to blame.

Anti-depressants and cognitive behaviour therapy is a common treatment.

Also deep pressure therapy can be useful.

I think antideressants and anti anxiety meds would help. It would just help you deal with change better because it reduces the anxiety.

I second this advice.
