Next time you're having a help! I'm getting more autistic! moment, consider getting your vitamin levels checked.
I've just been told I'm anaemic, and it was significantly worsening many common symptoms people on the spectrum are more prone to - trouble concentrating / focusing, tiredness / fatigue, no motivation to get things done, sleep issues, low mood, temperature intolerance, poor reaction speed, feeling disconnected and spaced out. Even some further afield symptoms such as dizziness and headaches cross over with this.
And no I'm not saying vitamins cure autism. I'm saying that a significant lack of certain vitamins (iron in this case) can worsen symptoms and make autism more difficult to manage. If iron can make such a difference, I would assume other vitamin deficiencies may do similar in different ways.
Just proverbially paying this info forward. If you're getting more troubles from ASD, you might want to get checked up for this!

Severely iron deficient here. I don't feel more autistic. I get out of breath. I get very tired. Of course my focusing/memory is not good since I am tired. I feel like myself just worn down.

I'm hard to treat so we will see if they help me out this time.
